eBay Drop Shipping Guide with No Inventory – Overview
There are various platforms out there which offer training courses on any number of subjects.
Udemy is one of these, and I would recommend taking a look if you are in the position of wanting to, or needing to upgrade your skill set, or just leaning something new to keep the “Grey matter” ticking over!
There are plenty of great courses to choose from. Top Tip: look out for their regular sales, and pick up a bargain!
Udemy is where, on 20th August 2020, I purchased this course, having heard about the concept of drop shipping for eBay when David Vu was interviewed on a podcast I regularly listen to.
I was looking to build some sort of online business, but at that point, I did not know which “vehicle” to use, so was getting a good overview of a variety of opportunities.
This course provides, in great detail, the method that David Vu used to create a 6-figure business for himself, and all the steps that you can follow to do the same.
The principal his method works upon is the ARBITRAGE model.
This is when a product is purchased from one marketplace at a lower price, and immediately sold in another marketplace at a higher price, theoretically, incurring no risk, and no negative cash flow.
There is a slight twist on this, but that is the Wiki definition.
So, Who Is David Vu?
A serial entrepreneur, who started his business ventures as a 16 year-old, and has grown to creating many opportunities which have turned into a 3 million dollar per year business for him. Pretty impressive, right?
He loves to travel the world, following his passion for fishing. An empire builder, and also someone who just loves to teach his students to become successful, using his proven methods. He is one of those who has an abundance mindset, and genuinely loves to share his success with other like-minded people.
With over 50,000 students, and over 12,000 reviews on Udemy, you can see that his courses are very popular, and well regarded. Overall ratings for his Udemy courses are between 4.2 – 4.8 out of 5. Again, pretty impressive!
eBay Drop Shipping Guide with No Inventory – Who Is This For?
This course is aimed at anybody who wishes to start their own, home-based, online business, without any large start-up costs.
You will need to be ” on your game” with this one, and by that I mean very proactive and driven. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme, nor is it something that will just run itself. You need to do the work!
If you haven’t yet decided which direction to go with it yet, this is a very useful insight into something a little different.
There will, however, be a cautionary note further down the review regarding this.
This is a course that I have purchased, and followed through from start to finish, so have a good insight, and can therefore make a subjective review of.
Note: David presents this course in English.

It is very clear and easy to follow, and there are no issues with missing information. Everything you need to go from a being a complete beginner knowing nothing, to actually being in a position to run your own business is here.
I would certainly recommend him as a trainer, and following my experience with this course, have invested in another of his here on Udemy.
eBay Drop Shipping Guide with No Inventory – What Support?
The support offered with this course is in the form of a Q&A on the Udemy platform, and there is a search facility whereby you can look for answers for a specific lecture number if required.
David Vu states that he will redirect any questions he gets about this course via any social network source, back to this Q&A forum on the Udemy platform.
He is a very busy man, and this is understandable, however he does not appear to answer much these days!
eBay Drop Shipping Guide with No Inventory – Cost To Buy
The course is subject to variations in price, not only by the course owner, but also by Udemy occasionally having sales. These seem to be quite often, and is a good time to buy, although see my Final Thoughts below!
At the time of writing this course is advertised at £59.99
Final Thoughts – eBay Drop Shipping Guide with No Inventory
Excellent course, and very well presented.
However, there is a fatal flaw!
This course was created a few years ago now, and things evolve online at quite a pace. Things change!
Since the course was launched, eBay have announced that they do not allow this drop shipping model. See their link below.
However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay. – eBay
This is why I commented on the course Q&A, screenshot below.
I didn’t apply for a refund in the end, because I got so much out of it regarding online business strategy generally, but knowing what I know now, would not have purchased this course in the first place.
There is a way to drop ship with eBay, but is more like traditional drop shipping, rather than what is taught in this course.
Always do your research and due diligence, people!
LOVE IT!
- Well structured
- Well delivered
- All the information you need
- Easy to follow video presentations
- Credible host with proof of income
NOT SO MUCH!
- Not 100% compatible to eBay’s terms & Conditions, sort of defeats the object!

VERDICT : Good/Bad/Ugly?
Great course, but not 100% compatible to eBay’s terms & Conditions regarding drop shipping.
Would have been a solid 4.5/5 had eBay not ruled it out!
